I passionately hate this book.

This is quite simply the most boring book I've read since graduating from high school. I give it two stars because it is very detailed and would undoubtedly be helpful if I were studying for a history test. As a US law student, it is difficult for me to separate the wheat from the chaff. I have no idea what's important because it's all given equal weight. Furthermore, the writing sounds like an eigth grader putting facts into their own words. Every sentence starts: Noun, verb. No variety in structure, no "voice."
Avoid this text if possible. If not, be prepared and drink lots of caffeine before starting an assignment.
