Terrible Kindle eBook Quality, seems good book

This is about the quality of the Kindle ebook of this book, which should be given 0 star. The 2 star is given because the book seems good (didn't finish a chapter because of terrible book quality).
It is understood that Kindle show equation and table in images, which looks different from the normal kindle font. However, this book's equation is terrible, very very hard to read, even at 200% zoom. All the fancy math symbles have zig-zag. I have to guess what are those symbles most of time. For subscript/superscript, you can't tell whether it is "i", "j", "l", or "k". These are important for equations.
Also tried on desktop, on Android, on iPad, same observations.

Christopherson, Carino, and Ferson have been a nice job of reviewing the various techniques of analyzing investment performance. Without proper techniques and benchmarking, one can be led astray in determining whose performance is due to skill and whose is due to luck. This book helps investors avoid the pitfalls of modern bubble investing.
For example, using the approaches documented in this excellent reference piece, would have helped investors realize in the late '90s that value investors were living through the most difficult time in history for value investing. Many investors ended up firing their value funds due to poor performance relative to the broad market. Of course, during the first half of this decade value investing paid off more than any other period in history. Those investors who moved all of their assets to growth stocks at the end of the '90s suffered one of the biggest declines in modern history.
This book helps one understand the market as well as investment performance.
